Travel Costs

Please note: Travel costs are based on 2 return trips Monday-Friday.  Some areas are only available between the months of April to October

Weekend Surcharges.  After 4pm Saturday we charge an hourly cost of $75.00 for the duration of time taken to do any drop off or pickup of ceremonies and installtion or dismantle of marquees.  Any other set up requirements will be charged at our discretion and will be dependent on venue bump in and bump out times if they apply.  We do not offer ceremony set ups.

DIY Marquees. Some of our smaller marquees are available for do-it-yourself installs at a discounted cost.  Please call for more information.

Onsite consultation is available on request for a fee of $100, which is payable at time of consult.  The fee is fully refundable if a booking is made.

Terms & Conditions

• All prices are inclusvie of GST
• All prices are subject to change without notice.
• Please quote your reference number when paying deposits or full payment as a $15 fee will be charged if we have to put a search in place through our bank.
• Quotes are valid for 1 month from issued date.
• Prices do not include delivery or pick up. Delivery will be charged to the first available point inside the Hirerʼs property or venue. An extra charge will be levied for difficult sites and stairs.
• Weekends, public holidays and outside normal working hours may incur an additional fee.
• Marquee prices include set up fees.
• Marquee prices are based on being pegged into flat level ground.
• Bookings require a 20% deposit on confirmation.
• Cancellations within the 3 month period prior to booking date will be refunded at our discretion.
• Full costs of bookings are prepaid minimum 7 days prior to booking date unless otherwise arranged.
• Prices quoted are for 24 hours hire only unless otherwise stated. Weekly and long term hire rates are available.
• Equipment and packaging (including boxes) damaged, broken, or lost while on hire will be charged for the full present day value.
• Do not use paper items with coloured dye as this marks equipment when wet and cannot be removed. Hirer will be charged replacement costs if this occurs.
• All equipment must be returned clean.
• Erectors of marquees must be informed of location of all water, gas, reticulation pipes and telephone cables prior to installation. Whilst all care will be taken, no responsibility is taken for damage caused to any water, gas, reticulation pipes, telephone cables or other equipment.
• Any repairs will be at the clients expense.
• Hire items are not insured. The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage or breakage until items are returned or collected.
  $200 cash bond required for collection of hired goods.
• The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the correct manner of use of the equipment. The Hirer hereby indemnifies and holds indemnified from and against all claims, actions, suits, demands, and expenses in any way arising from injury, death, or damage caused to the Hirer or Associate users in respect of equipment hired.
• The equipment supplied for hire always remains the property of Cape Marquees.
