Cape Marquees Party Hire all began in September 2007 when we decided we both needed a change from our usual careers. Jamie being a local electrical contractor (JMW Electrical Services - EC7104) and Mel being a hairstylist. What a year it was! We set up business, got married ourselves and threw in a baby or two on top. We certainly didnʼt do things by halves.

Cape Marquees all came about when Melʼs Auntie Loris who owns Margaret River Party Hire asked if we would like to take on the marquees she had just purchased. So we handed over some money and away we went. We had plenty to learn and found each time we put a marquee together there was an easier way to do it than what we had done previously.

At this stage we were only doing a few marquees for parties and we decided just before our own wedding how lovely our marquees would look if we finished them off with some silk linings and lighting. Hence our wedding became our trial for installing the silks and making our marquees look stunning. Then we thought "well, we canʼt have marquees, silks and lights without tables and chairs" and so the ball got rolling.

We offer a range of high quality marquees and related equipment. Our marquees are of the highest standard and are either Australian or New Zealand made.
